Today’s featured work, [Le Pli: The Fold], was written based on the late philosophy of Gilles Deleuze, specifically his theory of "Le Pli" (The Fold) and Baroque thought. Deleuze envisioned the world and the soul not as separate entities, but as a single, grand fabric that is constantly folded and unfolded. Based on this insight, this project seeks to portray the continuity of existence, stretching from the most private bedroom to the grand architectural structures of the city.
The line "The beginning and the end of a single flowing line" sings of the consistency of an existence that remains one even when folded. Furthermore, the declaration "From the softest silk to the heavy frozen stone" reflects the intense spectrum of being that transforms as the fold expands.
